FID 2025: The Future of Digital Innovation

FID 2025: The Future of Digital Innovation where data, cloud, and security converge

On November 6, Outview and Armazém Cloud hosted FID – The Future of Digital Innovation, a gathering that spotlighted the most strategic pillars of digital transformation: system performance, information security, databases, and artificial intelligence applied to business.
The event marked a new step in integrating technology and management, showing that the future of digital innovation begins where connection happens  between people, data, and purpose.

System Performance and Technological Culture: The New Indicator of Maturity

According to Gartner (2025) data, 78% of medium and large enterprises report performance bottlenecks related to their database  precisely the topic discussed in the panel “My system is slow where is the problem?Source: https://www.gartner.com/en/newsroom/press-releases/2024-08-28-gartner-predicts-75-percent-of-enterprises-will-prioritize-backup-of-saas-applications-as-a-critical-requirement-by-2028

At FID, experts pointed out that in up to 99% of cases, the real culprit is a poorly optimized database not the hardware or infrastructure.
Tuning routines, well-structured indexes, native encryption, and data masking (in compliance with the LGPD, Brazil’s data protection law) were presented as effective solutions to balance performance and security.

But the strongest point was cultural: companies that treat slowness as a technical failure are behind; those that treat it as an organizational symptom are evolving.“Performance isn’t about power; it’s about maturityand maturity is born from team integration,” highlighted one of the speakers.
In the United States, giants like Netflix and Uber follow this same logic: multifunctional teams  with DBA, DevOps, and Security working side by side reduce performance incidents by up to 40%, according to IDC data.

Cybersecurity: Balancing Protection and Performance Is the New Art of IT

The panel on data security brought a key discussion: how to protect without compromising usability.
Today, security isn’t a department it’s a mindset. Implementing ISO 27001 policies, cybersecurity committees, regular pentests, and continuous observability proved indispensable.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) was one of the most exciting themes. At FID, specialists showed how algorithms can audit backups, correlate logs, and identify non-compliances faster than manual processes.
This trend mirrors the North American market: Fortune 500 companies already use AI-powered auditing and integrated SIEM systems, reducing the average incident response time from 6 hours to less than 40 minutes.
“Security is risk management. It’s about finding the balance between protection and productivity,” emphasized one of the technical panelists.

Business-Oriented IT: Translating Technology into Measurable Value

The discussion on business-oriented IT was one of the most practical.
Experts at FID argued that technology must speak the language of the boardroom with metrics that prove value: cost reduction, revenue growth, cycle-time improvement, and risk mitigation.
In the U.S., according to Harvard Business Review (2024), companies that align IT with business metrics are 35% more likely to receive new strategic investments.
It’s the same movement that Outview advocates: IT as a driver of results, not just operational support.
Showing ROI in security means proving that preventing loss is generating profit. This is the new mindset of digital leadership.”

Education and Training: The Future of the Digital Workforce

FID also brought reflections on education and professional development in technology.
With the rise of automation and AI, teachers must become knowledge facilitators, and companies need to invest in corporate e-learning and internal IT academies.
The goal is to integrate management, infrastructure, and security from early training, reducing the ramp-up time of new talent.

Outview already applies this philosophy through internal training programs and digital maturity initiatives.
In the U.S., Corporate Learning Platforms such as AWS Skill Builder and Microsoft Learn have shown a 60% increase in talent retention a trend now emerging in the Brazilian market.

Outview’s Vision: Turning Daily Challenges into Global Solutions

FID 2025 reaffirmed Outview’s mission: to be the link between innovation, security, and performance.
The partnership with Armazém Cloud demonstrated that the real power of technology lies in intelligent collaboration.
By bringing together experts from different fields, the event proved that the IT of the future is integrated, measurable, and human and that the next step in digital innovation begins now.
